Gusty Games run regular 'computation workshops' in Christchurch.
A computation workshop is a place for recreational mathematicians and programmers to meet and practice solving problems. The difference between this and regular maths workshops is that there are no rules - you can use a calculator, computer, the internet and any other resources at your disposal. Don't be discouraged if you have never programmed before, some tuition will be given for beginners. Our attendees are mostly high school students, but anyone is welcome to attend.
If you would like to attend, simply sign up to the mailing list below and then show up.
Computation Workshop changes due to COVID-19
Unfortunately the workshops will be cancelled under level 3 and above.
When attending an in-person workshop during level 2, please make sure you maintain your social distance (2m) from other students and staff, wash your hands regularly, and stay at home if you feel unwell.
The Christchurch Computation Workshops are held on the third Monday of each month
